Vivi Campbell

Hello! I’m Vivi Campbell, a Brazilian-born, Manchester-based self-taught portrait artist. Raised in Rio de Janeiro, my artistic voice is deeply rooted in my multicultural heritage. Living in Manchester since 2008, I infuse my art with the fiery Latin spirit of my homeland, channeling personal stories and cultural reflections into each piece.

My contemporary portraits blend realism with abstraction, capturing the essence of femininity through bold, vibrant colours and expressive forms. I’m passionate about portraying women’s strength and vulnerability, creating pieces that reflect both confidence and fragility in equal measure.

My work has been exhibited in prestigious venues, including the Salford Museum and Gallery Oldham, earning recognition as a Runner-Up Prize winner for The Unsteady Crown at the Salford Museum Open. Whether painting women, animals, or landscapes, I strive to create art that resonates deeply, encouraging reflection and connection.
